A Love Letter to Cloud

This is one of those projects where everyone involved knew the fan base would roast us if we got it wrong. So, it’s a good thing the team at Hammer Creative was full of die-hard fans of the FF franchise—they had already set the bar high. We came up with mountains of ideas, and wrote scripts for days and days. Although 98% them never made it, it helped us hone in on the truth: this remake was going to be epic, so we should let it do all the talking.

The team came through with a simple idea that would let us focus on all things everyone loves about FF … Our campaign would be “A love letter to Cloud” (the main hero). This way the fans could bask in the full glory of the remake itself, its storyline, and one of their favorite characters.
